Dearest Eaters and Seekers of Local Organic Delights -
This is Farmer Brooke and I am here to spread the delicious gospel of farm-fresh food. All week long your favorite gang of growers have been enduring the heat, the rain, and the dirt to bring you a tasty array of treats including gourmet mushrooms, free-range eggs, all-natural meats, wholesome breads, baked goods, organic fruits, sexy vegetables, artisan goat cheese, locally-milled flours, micro-roasted coffee, and a whole lot more. Dig in thisFriday Night from 4-9 PM at the BADSEED Farmers Market!!
***Sexy Veggie of the Week***
Okay, Okay.....I am sorry to say that there is no "sexy veggie of the week" this week. God forbid! But wait - don't blame the vegetables - blame your bed-ridden farmer. To the contrary, there are loads of ooooh sooooo sexy (totally naked) vegetables in my field as we speak just screaming to be photographed, talked about, and admired. But alas, this "dirty girl" has caught an awful bug and has spent the last 10 hours kneeling over the toilet bowl instead of my glorious vegetable beds. Therefore I couldn't get out to the field to take those lovely photos that you all enjoy so much each week. So, you will just have to make the trip this Friday and catch all those lovely ladies in the flesh, spread out all over the BADSEED market tables. Hopefully by then I will be feeling a bit better and together we can indulge in our perversion for homegrown food!!!
