funky Friday Farmers Market at BADSEED - FRIDAYS in the CROSSROADS

Friends,

Some of you may have been present at market a few weeks ago some close friends performed The Ballad of Brooke and Dan. The video that came out of that performance is now available to THE WORLD. Check out the following links for your personal entertainment:

Thanks to our lovely friends who made this possible!

Two of our lovely chickens have just laid their first EGGS! Talk about yolks. I think these girls have been eating too much Swiss chard; those yolks were burnt orange and tasted amazing. Unfortunately, these girls will only lay for our private consumption. But we are very proud parents! Everyone should keep their own chickens! Hopefully someday soon you can - LEGALLY.

Fall is setting in, and our appetites and habits are changing (consciously or not). We notice when we see tomatoes left on the market table toward the end of summer. With fall officially here, many farmers markets are slowing down. Don't forget about us!

In the warmth of the
BADSEED, we'll continue to have an abundance of organic delights. It's HARVEST SEASON, which represents the best produce from both the summer and fall. And as other markets close, we'll be adding more vendors to beef up the BADSEED Winter Market. Come see us this week and fill your mouth with the following:

Heirloom WINTER Squash (already sold out of Black Futsus)
alert-level Turk's Turban, sweeter than Pie Pumpkins, GIANT JAPANESE PINK BANANA,
succulent Sweet Dumplings, hippy-loving ACORN, fun-filled Spaghetti Squash, and Butternuts baby!

Loads of Sweet PEPPERS, Red, Purple, Green!!
Young and Tender ARUGULA from Lew, the Herb'n Gardener
Yard-Long Chinese Red Noodle Beans
Brooke's famous herbed Saute Mix
Tender Tuscan, Winterbor, and Russian Kale
HOT HOT HOT Peppers!
Sweeter than Spinach SWEET POTATO GREENS
Snoody French Filet Beans from Lew
Orgasmic Eggplants from Outer Space
Red Velvet Okra!
Superb Salad Mix from that Herb'n Gardener again
Onions and Garlic
zinniaZzZ

And, of course, let us not forget that we will have EGGS, BREAD and SWEETS from Bread of Life Bakery, and coffee from Puddin' Head.

We'll see you Friday!!
