Wednesday Markets - Local Food in Kansas City - WESTPORT PLAZA FARMERS' MARKET & KC ORGANICS at PARK PLACE

WESTPORT PLAZA FARMERS' MARKET

at Westport & Wyoming

WEDNESDAY Evening
Local Food in Kansas City

Good Day!
The Westport Plaza Farmers' Market is still growing the greats of our local hardy zone. If you want more local vegetation in your own greenspace and you have not planted a garden, might we suggest planting some native trees. You can order dirt cheap trees from the National Arbor Day Foundation or drop by The Soil Service Store at 7125 Troost in south KC, MO, (816) 333-3232. Fall is ideal time to get these started.

This week at the market, Martha Haehl will be playing some olde tyme favourites with lots of verve and zest to go along with the late summer harvest. Come an Git it!
Wednesday September 8th, 4:30-7:30 at Westport Road and Wyoming St.

You can get it all on Wednesday as you listen to great local music and meet the finest neighbors around.

Green goods...
(some with mystery colors inside!)

Have you tried HONEY as a secret ingredient to make any good dish taste delicious? When you're not sure what to add to spruce up your meal, make it some of Miller's Raw Tree Honey.

Les Miller
will be here at the market to tell you all about his bees.
You can also get cut flowers, safe bug repellent, wood bowls or vases, natural fertilizer and information about how to care for your own plants from the experts.

So, make the trip to
Westport Road and Wyoming Street, just 3 blocks east of State Line. Get the freshest of local, sustainably grown produce!

See you this Wednesday for the best in local, sustainably grown food!

Take a walk, stroll, ride, or drive to the
Westport Plaza Farmers Market
at Westport and Wyoming
this Wednesday from
4:30-7:30pm
for the freshest of local,
sustainably grown offerings.

If it's from our growers, you know it's not tainted with pesticides & you can talk with our vendors about how to cook it, it it or grow some of it yourself! Goodness!
