Raw sewage often ends up on local streams, rivers and lakes. Kansas City has a combined sewer system that inherently causes raw sewage to occasionally end up in Brush Creek, the Blue River and the Missouri River. Raw sewage poses as a health risk for residents. There have been some recent large spills of raw sewage in the Kansas City area.
Please call into the program in support of Clean Water.
