WESTPORT PLAZA FARMERS' MARKET - at Westport & Wyoming - WEDNESDAY Evening Local Food in Kansas City

Dear Friend,

At dinner this evening, while dining on a variety of market fresh goods, my 8 year old son commented that he really liked all the food we were eating because we had bought it locally. He said, "The farmers' market food is so much better because you know who grew it and that it came from around here."

So true. Especially, if it's from the Westport Plaza Farmers' Market - Whether it's blueberries from Alice and Marvin, eggplant from Marie and Lewis, hot peppers from Sherri, honey from Les, greens from Kathi, beef from Kim, or heirloom tomatoes from Bruce-You know it's sown, tended and harvested by the hands that offer the food to you each week at the market.

Tell your friends and family to brave the heat and come to Westport Road and Wyoming Street on Wednesday August 11th from 4:30 to 7:30 pm for the one and only midweek market in midtown KC-the Westport Plaza Farmers' Market.

See you this Wednesday for the best in local, sustainably grown food!

Take a walk, stroll, ride, or drive to the
Westport Plaza Farmers Market

at Westport and Wyoming
this Wednesday from
4:30-7:30pm
for the freshest of local,
sustainably grown offerings.

If it's from our growers, you know it's not tainted with pesticides & you can talk with our vendors about how to cook it, it it or grow some of it yourself! Goodness!
