Leawood finally has an organic farmer's market and it's at Mission Farms. Come introduce yourself and get to know our local farmers with their fresh organically-grown produce, free-range meats, fruits and other locally grown products.
Our market is open every Thursday on the east end of the Mission Farms parking lot. Join in the fun.

The Show Me Local Food Coalition is a cooperative effort among rural and urban Missourians that is building a new approach to producing, processing and marketing food in the state.Our vision is to support the growth and development of the food economy by investing public resources in projects and programs that increase access to high-quality, locally-raised food products at affordable prices.
We believe that this approach increases the number and profitability of farms, expands job creation through local entrepreneurship and improves the health of consumers by increasing consumption of fresh, nutritious food.
