Monday afternoon (TODAY - June 8th), Growing Growers will hold a workshop on Post Harvest Handling, with a presentation that covers how to keep your vegetables fresh, flavorful and safe after harvest. We'll follow that up with a tour of Fahrmeier Farms in Lexington, Missouri, where Brandon and Brett Fahrmeier grow on 60+ acres, including 2 acres under Haygrove high tunnels.
As with all GG workshops, we welcome participants of all experience levels. All that is required is an interest in learning about sustainably growing for market.
You are welcome to pay the registration fee at the door, but please call or email Laura to pre-register: growers (@) ksu.edu or (816) 805-0362
