Endless rains and cool temperatures may confuse your senses, but make no mistake - Summer is still upon us, and so are those devastatingly delicious homegrown vegetables you have come to know and love at your favorite funky Friday Night Farmers Market from 4:30-9 PM at the BADSEED – complete with local organic delights grown by the baddest gang of urban farmers and dirt lovin’ fools…….

*Heirloom Tomatoes (the season for these babies is dwindling, so get em’ while you can!)

*Orgasmic Eggplant (yes, it truly is orgasmic – cooked to perfection it melts in your mouth like a slice of heaven)

*Sweet and Hotter (than hell) Peppers

*Fresh Dug Gourmet POTATOES (check out the picture attached)

*RED VELVET OKRA (this is some classy okra, and it tastes as good as it looks)

*Heirloom Scallop Squash, Zucchini, and more (grill them, saut̩ them, sleep with them under your pillow Рthey are fabulous)

*Russian Kale & Rainbow Chard (Momma says “gotta eat your greens”)

*Foot Long Chinese Red NOODLE Beans (need I say more)

*Aromatic Basil in Genovese, Purple Ruffles, and Lime (make some PESTO and eat it with a spoon like ice cream…..I do)

Enough with the veggies, you say!!! What about cheese??

We’ve got that too: Aged and Fresh varieties from Goatsbeard Farm in Harrisburg, MO. Some tantalizing options include Greek Style Feta in a salty brine, herb crusted Chevre, Moniteau Blue, and a munster like Osage Orange. Yum.

Not to mention Free-Range EGGS and Baked Goods from Bread of Life Bakery, and fair-trade, organic Coffee Beans from our favorite local roasters, Puddin’ Head.
