We welcome our two favorite bands from last year back this Saturday.  Free State Ramblers will be playing from 8:30 to 10:30 and Fine Kettle of Fish from 11 to 1 pm.  Also, remember only one more week till the Tomato Festival!

What we put on our body gets flushed down the drain and into the water and soil.  Keep the planet clean with healthy organic body products. We are getting lots of wonderful comments about our soaps.......

Emily will be at the market this week with Spicy Pecan Caramels, Cappuccino, Sea Salt and Rosemary Caramels. She will also have Scottish Shortbread, Lemon-Rosemary Shortbread, and a batch of Butter Crunch Almond Toffee. And, don't forget the "Locavore" and "Eat Well" t shirts.

Golden Crown Coffee is excited to announce that we will now be carrying honey! Local and raw honey from right here in Missouri, and a coffee infused bee's wax soap. Come pick up local honey and freshly roasted coffee.

We are right in the middle of garlic harvest. We had some turn out very nice. We missed being at market last week but will be there this week. We will have Patty Pan Squash, Garlic, Kale, Lettuce (Freckles and Paris Coss). I believe we can get a few more Radishes. We will also have Kohlrabi, Purple Basil, Sweet Basil, Dill Weed, Savory, Pepper Mint, Sweet Basil plants, Savory plants, Blackberry plants, Sweet Marjoram and Basil potted together. Come by and see all the different kinds of Garlic. See you at the market.

Green Dirt Farm
Prairie Tomme ("Tome") is ready at last! This delicious French Alpine-style cheese (think Gruyere or Gouda) has been in the aging room for four months, developing its smooth, firm texture and buttery, nutty taste. We'll have some for you Saturday, along with our other aged and fresh farmstead sheep's milk cheeses and sweet Italian-style sheep's sausage. Hope to see you at the market on Saturday!

Hello all at Brookside Market,
My family from California is here and has already enjoyed a day at Market.Bryce and Lili are ready to help bake some delicious cookies for the market. Their specials this year will be lemon and white chocolate drop cookies and honey bee cookies. Come by and try one of our specials made especially for Brookside Market.
Chris and Josiah will have our market burritos, quiches,cinnamon rolls, breads cookies,granolas, and jams to offer for your weeks supply of baked goods.
