Funky First Friday Farmers' Market ~ BADSEED - Kansas City, Mo - EVERY FRIDAY 4pm-8pm WINTER HOURS - 20111216

Come see me!
Dearest Herbivores, Carnivores, and Omnivores Alike -

GOOD NEWS!!  Whatever your poison - WE'VE GOT IT this Friday at the BADSEED *Winter* Farmers' Market  from 4-8 PM.  The local-organic "smorgasbord" will be overflowing with grass-fed meats, cheeses, AND VEGGIES!!!...yes (unlike last week) we will have loads of GREEN STUFF.  Vegetarians and vegans can come out of hiding now!  We've got you covered.

I'll be angry if you don't ...
Last week I was VERY frustrated.  At the last minute, my few remaining veggie vendors pulled out due to frozen crops and my "egg lady" had car problems.  As a result, the market was a little thin.  I felt like I wasn't living up to my title as Winter Market Manager Extraordinaire.  However, this week is looking A LOT better.  We have a new farmer in the mix who will be bringing LOADS of veg including sweet potatoes, butternut squash, endless greens, and nappa cabbage.  Check out our *New Vendor Alert* for more info.  We will also have some other "newbies" this Friday along with our usual gang of gregarious growers...(all with mouthwatering morsels to boot!!).  Stay out of the soulless supermarket, and let your local farmers FEED YOU instead.  We are up for the challenge
(even in December!!).

OOOH BOY!  I feel like Santa Claus with this little announcement:

BADSEED is now a proud pick-up location for wholesome R-@-W M-!-L-K from GRASS-FED Jersey Cows - Un-pasteurized, non-homongenized, local, farm-fresh, CREAM-TOP, good ol' fashioned PURE M-!-L-K!!!!!!

YAY!  You don't know how long I have been waiting for a convenient, totally righteous, R-@-W m-!-l-k supplier.  I get endless requests for this stuff by customers, and I desperately want it for my own family as well.  Thanks to Be Whole Again Family Farm in Excelsior Springs, MO our "dairy dreams" have been answered.  This beautiful (growing) family went out on a limb and sold their conventional business to delve head-first into sustainable dairy farming.  It is truly touching what some folks will do in the name of REAL FOOD!  It aint an easy business and they are working their butts off to get things off the ground.  That being said, they sure are doing something right cuz I got a gallon last week and it is simply DIVINE.  (I skim the cream off the top for my coffee every morning).  Anyway, here's the scoop:

PRE-ORDERED and PRE-PAID M-!-l-k delivered to BADSEED every Friday, 4-6 PM.
