Last Chance for Locally Grown Food
Wednesday, October 12th
4:30-7:30 pm
Occupy the Farmers' Market
There is no better way to protest the greedy grip of a few oligarchs over our livelihood, than to come on down to your local market for food grown without pesticides, destructive fertilizers or genetic modification. When you support our farmers and artisans, you are declaring your freedom to live well for a better world. This will be the last offical day at the Westport Plaza Market for the 2011 growing season. Your purchases will provide the fuel to produce more sustainable food next season. Plus, we'd all love to see you one more time before the long wait until springtime!
A ton of good food will be working its way from the fields, including tomatoes, a wealth of greens, root veggies, potatoes, herbs, squash, beans, eggs, fresh baked goods, jams, and the return of grass fed beef!
Stock up for the cold season!!!
This Wednesday, October 12th from 4:30 until 7:30 pm
at the intersection of Westport Road and Wyoming Street in KC, MO.
