This event is a celebration of what is KC and what is Local and Organic. It is also your special opportunity to stock up for the rest of the winter, and to find some of your most unique Holiday Gifts that are not just Local KC, but also Organic and full of uniqueness and integrity. We will feature the regular winter fare:

: Honey, bees-wax candles and bars, pecans, FT (Fairly Traded) coffees, Gift-boxes and baskets, cards, specially wrapped gifts, Bokashi for your compost and worms, and more.
Special new additions this year: Amazing raw chocolates, Toffees, Organic and Natural fiber hand-made hats and scarves, "Up-cycled" glass yard-art and bird-feeders, Christmas scented room purifiers, Naural-stone jewelry, Fire starters, Pottery, amongst others.
We are very pleased with the variety and uniqueness of our offerings this year. Some of the new vendors come from our new Wednesday market in downtown Leawood at Park Place. Please come out, spread the word, and come visit the special wonderland gathering. This also features a special opportunity to visit and learn from the farmers and artisans who produce them! So, please come on out and help us celebrate. And as you know this is a rain, ice, or storm event, we will be there regardless. I hope you are bundled up!.....cuz man it is cold out there!! There is something about this bone-chilling weather that makes me absolutely voracious!!! I'm starving! I cannot get enough delicious, hearty, creamy, yummy, bone-coating, local foods. I gotta put on my "winter weight" to stay warm. That's what we farmers do best......get fat in the off-season! *For those concerned about the chopping down of live trees: They are a (beautiful & aromatic) invasive species that takes over native prairie and serves as a disease vector to fruit trees! They need to go!!!

Kim Tuccillo from Roaring River Bread Co. in Brookside, MO will be at BADSEED this week and next! Many of you have experienced Kim's delicious Rustic Breads at the BADSEED Market before (in fact she showed up last Friday at the last minute!!). Kim uses 100% organic ingredients to lovingly create hand-made, hand-formed, hearth baked, individual and small batch breads, cookies, granolas and other yummy snacks! Favorites include French Sourdough, Cracked Wheat with Honey, and Harvest 7 Grain. Kim is a busy lady and cannot make it to the market until 5 PM. Come after that to catch her hot loaves!!
