This week at BADSEED Market, we recommend eating anything and everything with fabulous aged and fresh cheeses from Goatsbeard Farm - after all, we did pay good money for the right to sell the stuff. But beyond those selfish reasons, these cheeses go well with all things Summer. And you haven't really lived until you've tried the Moniteau Blue. If you think you don't like blue cheese, you might take this one for a spin. If you adore fromage, and pronounce "blue" with an outrageous French accent, you will be pleased with any and all of the Goatsbeard cheeses.
Things that you'll find at this Friday night's funkified market to go with your cheese include:
Ripe RED, PINK, PURPLE, BLACK, YELLOW and GREEN Heirloom Tomatoes
Smooth, slender, and radiant Japanese and Italian Eggplant
Nutty and sweet yard-long Chinese Noodle Beans
Abundant and varied heirloom SCALLOP SQUASH, PATTY PAN squash, and EIGHT BALL and straight ZUCCHINI
FINGERLING and BAKING POTATOES
PURPLE RUFFLES, ITALIAN and THAI BASIL
BEETS, glorious brilliant blood-red BEETS
Fresh, milky, raw SWEET CORN
Tender SAVOY CABBAGE
Sweet-tart Crab Apples
And Much MORE!!!
Of course, we will also have bread from BREAD of LIFE BAKERY, coffee from PUDDIN' HEAD, and fabulous farm-fresh EGGS.
We'll see you Friday Night from 4:30 - 9, if we don't see you sooner.
Sincerely,
Farmer Dan
